We look forward to welcoming you to The Boar's Head whether you are staying with us or joining us for a drink or bite to eat. Please do book at table to ensure you are not disappointed. We will operate a ‘greet and seat’ approach, to ensure social distancing does not become an issue whilst you are with us. To ensure all our customers and staff are safe and happy, we have reduced the number of tables inside The Boar’s Head and created a one-way system in the building. We are now offering additional seating outside on the cobbles to ensure 1m + social distancing between parties, hand sanitizer will be readily available for customers and team members and additional cleaning and hygiene processes have been implemented. We are currently unable to accommodate parties of more than 6 guests. We loved the good old days and want them to return, so we are not asking our team to wear PPE, but we do ask for strict vigilance with personal hygiene and minimum contact. Sadly, for the moment there is no drinking at the bar, we offer table service only. If you could pay contactless that would be great. If you are joining us, we are required by law to take your contact details in case they are needed for NHS Test and Trace. These will be taken by your host on arrival, all personal information will be stored on a secure booking system and of course data protection guidelines will be adhered to.

Bedrooms

We look forward to welcoming you to The Boar’s Head this Summer. We currently have a limited number of rooms available on a Room Only basis please email : Reservations@boarsheadripley.co.uk or call 01423 771888 / 07741 651 347 between 9am to 5pm daily.

All our bedrooms will be cleaned by an external contracting company who fog the room after each use and in preparation for the next arrival please see link on the fogging process (https://www.oneservicegroup.co.uk/hotel-cleaning/) Each room will be inspected daily by our Head Housekeeper and only the Head Housekeeper to reduce contact. Alliance our providers of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals will continue to supply all our products and COSH training Introduction of antibacterial products to be installed in each guest room. Our laundry company will deliver linen which has been machine washed in excess of 60 degrees, the required temperature to kill any trace of disease.

Guest amenities will be reduced in the room to essentials therefore reducing the risk of contamination. All cups and glasses in rooms will as always have passed through our washing machines with temperatures above 60 degrees again removing any possible diseases

• Dining slots will be of 2 hours maximum
• Outside dining will only be offered on a first come first serve basis
Reserved tables can only be held for 15 minutes; please try to be on time.

If you chose to drink outside and it begins to rain, we may not be able to relocate you within the pub, so please bring your brollies!
Empty glass policy, if your glass is empty you will be asked to vacate your table to allow waiting patrons to enjoy a drink. Finally, for the moment we are unable to offer any parking , but the village car park will be open and we ask for no smoking. Click here to view our current risk assessment
