Sprite Productions 2009:-

The Tempest  Sprite Productions return for their 5th Anniversary

and their production of The Tempest :-

This summer brings Sprite Production's 5th Anniversary and their latest

offering, Shakespeare's most fantastic play, The Tempest. Once again the

company will be challenging the audience's idea of conventional theatre, by

performing on an island on the Castle's lake.

Before the show, you can relax in Ripley Castles' beautiful grounds and enjoy a

picnic. Tickets are £17.00 for adults and £14.00 for concessions and £10.00 for

                      children.

Shakespeare's Globe on Tour

  The Globe on Tour:

  The Comedy of Errors .

Following the success of last year's invitation to the Factory theatre to tour their

production of Hamlet to Ripley, Sprite are proud to annouce they will be hosting

the Globe Theatre's tour of The Comedy of Errors for two nights on the 7th and 8th

July. Performed on an Elizabethan-inspired stage; a troupe of travelling players

breathe new life into this delightfully anarchic play, reinventing renaissance touring

 theatre for the 21st century.
