The Yorkshire Classic Car and Bike Show is a long established event, where attendees will be able to catch a glimpse of a large selection of classic cars, motorcycles, commercials and classic land rovers on display, all set in the park of splendourous Ripley Castle. There will also be a trade stand area and a huge auto jumble for anyone after a bargain!
Ripley Castle itself is well known throughout Yorkshire as having a long and captivating history, one of romance and religion, renaissance and recklessness and loyalty and bravery. Owned by the Ingilby family, who in 2009 celebrated 700 years at the Castle, Ripley is the perfect place for a vintage vehicle and classic car show and organiser Mark Woodward said, We have been holding Classic Car shows at Ripley Castle for over 10 years and they have always been a great success. I am certain this year's event will be no different, especially as Ripley Castle is steeped in so much history and has such stunning surroundings, making it an ideal event for all the family.
The Yorkshire Classic Car and Bike Show will be held on Monday 4th June from 10am - 4pm. Adult tickets are £6 and child tickets are £3, this includes entry onto the show field, park, tearoom and castle gardens (there is a small fee for a guided indoor castle tour). Ripley Castle is just 2 and a half miles north of Harrogate, off the A61 between Ripon and Harrogate. Well behaved dogs kept on leads are welcome in the park and camping is available on site.
